At Invoicista, the privacy and protection of your personal data is our highest priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your information when you use our application and services. By using Invoicista, you accept the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide: Name, email address, billing information and client details you enter to create invoices.
Information collected automatically: App usage data, such as interactions, error logs and device data (device type, operating system).
AI service usage: To operate the service and control its costs, we record, per account and month, the number of requests, duration of audio processed, units of text processed (tokens), and reported or estimated costs. These operational records are stored in Firebase with restricted access and are deleted when the account is deleted. They do not include copies of audio, instructions, documents or your clients' data, and are not sent to advertising platforms.
Audio recordings: We temporarily process your voice recordings to provide the requested transcription. Current versions do not store the recording with the document; we retain the resulting text and data. Some recordings created with earlier web versions may remain associated with their document until it is deleted.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the invoice generation service.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions through Apple, Google Play, Stripe and RevenueCat, depending on the platform used.
- Improve the app, measure campaigns and diagnose errors using usage and device data.
- Meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
- Communicate with you about updates or support.
3. Sharing Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following cases:
- With Firebase for authentication, storage and cloud functions.
- With Groq and OpenRouter and their model providers to transcribe audio, interpret instructions and prepare the requested content.
- With Apple, Google Play, Stripe, RevenueCat and Superwall to offer and manage purchases and subscriptions.
- With Resend for transactional emails, Sentry for error diagnostics and Meta for advertising measurement and attribution.
- To comply with laws or court orders, or protect rights.
- In the event of a merger or acquisition, with prior notice.
4. Data Security
We use encryption, firewalls and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data while you maintain an active account. When you delete your account, we delete most data within 30 days, except for what is required by law (for example, financial records).
6. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on your location:
- Access and correction: Request to view or update your data.
- Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and data.
- Objection: Opt out of marketing or nonessential processing.
- Portability: Receive a copy of your data in a readable format.
